Some days are best when they're over...

It was a rotten day today.  Taycie has an infected thumb that is the one she usually sticks in her mouth.  She cried and fussed for four hours this morning, and then off and on for the rest of the day.  She keeps saying:  "huwting...bad!"  I took her to the doctor on Monday, and he froze off a wart on that thumb (it was getting red and puffy and infected, so it needed to be taken care of).  Now it is blistered and oozing.  We all feel so bad for her.  She is usually the most angelic baby you could ask for...now we know why - she could suck her thumb.  Without it she goes to pieces.

Bob is still in Boston.  Without him I guess I go to pieces.  I actually put myself in a long time out today...

It is way past time for bed.

Luckily tomorrow is another day.  Maybe I'm just having withdrawals from the absolutely wonderful weekend we got to spend in Boston with Christian and Tara and their kids.  I think I'll try to think about those memories while I drift off to sleep...Sweet dreams.

P.S. Boston pictures will be coming after Bob gets back with our camera.  I'm so excited to share them!

Oh I've been there before. My favorite saying on days like those is one from President Monson that says "Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says, “I’ll try again tomorrow.”"
