The Latest

Dr. Christopher Jolles

Yesterday we met with Dr. Christopher Jolles. He was called into emergency surgery, so we waited 3 hrs. for him to get back into the office. Our meeting went as well as possible, he is such a kind doctor.

My CT scan was clear. He looked over the results and said "this is very good news". This means the cancer has not spread from the uterus, as he had expected it would have.
My hcg levels went down again - to 8,000ish. Through natural therapies, and lots of prayers and fasting, we have gotten it to go from 18,000 to 8,000 in 10 days. This gives us a lot of hope.
The fact that I had a miscarriage in January is a good sign, statistics show that the tumor will be less resistant to treatment than if it had occurred after a normal pregnancy.

He sat down and outlined a treatment plan for now, and the future (for after future pregnancies, etc.)
I was feeling so drained, tired, and emotional that I didn't ask any questions.

Bob knew the question I was dying to ask, so he commented on the fact that we've been able to have the hcg levels decrease two weeks in a row, and asked how long we could try natural therapies to get the hcg levels to zero. Dr. Jolles said he would be all right with two weeks (not his first recommendation, but it would not pose a big risk). Then he looked me in the eyes and said very seriously, "but don't let it go for three weeks."

This is the fastest growing type of cancer of any. It is also the most easily affected by treatment.

So, we have two weeks. If it isn't at zero, we will go ahead with chemotherapy. I have lots of decisions to make.

Your HCG levels are AMAZING. We just watched the Dr. Gerson method videos on Amazon and are convinced of the power of juicing.

Fill the spiritual needs

Pray with your little ones

Be Wise In Our Diet

The importance of teaching & training

"In 1904, President Joseph F. Smith said to parents: “Do not let your children out to specialists … , but teach them by your own precept and example, by your own fireside. Be a specialist yourself in the truth.

… Not one child in a hundred would go astray, if the home environment, example and training, were in harmony with the truth in the gospel of Christ, as revealed and taught to the Latter-day Saints.”

The ideal way to transform your home into a house of learning is to hold family home evening faithfully. The Church has reserved Monday evening for that purpose. In 1915, the First Presidency instructed local leaders and parents to inaugurate a home evening, a time when parents should teach their families the principles of the gospel.

The Presidency wrote: “If the Saints obey this counsel, we promise that great blessings will result. Love at home and obedience to parents will increase. Faith will be developed in the hearts of the youth of Israel, and they will gain power to combat the evil influence and temptations which beset them.”

President David O. McKay gave the same promise in 1965 and added that the youth will gain power “to choose righteousness and peace, and be assured an eternal place in the family circle of our Father.”

In 1976, the Presidency reaffirmed that “regular participation in family home evening will develop increased personal worth, family unity, love for our fellowmen, and trust in our Father in heaven.

Considering these glorious promises, we would expect every faithful member to be exceedingly diligent in following this prophetic counsel. But, of course, we are all human, and our best plans don’t always materialize. Why not? Let it not be for lack of commitment."

Come to the Temple
