Today

Today, Aliysa's face is bruised and swollen, she has a splitting headache, and we found some bruises and bumps on her head.  Jace's neck is sore, his head is also hurting a lot, and Mallory is having a hard time eating because of her puffy bruised cheek, which is very sore on the inside of her mouth.
Here she is trying to let me take a picture of her swollen and black and blue face.  She's sitting next to her friend Morgan, who just had his wisdom teeth removed, so his face is swollen too.
We tried taking more pictures of her face, but it wouldn't show the wound very well.  Aliysa made me delete them.

This morning I took some of our young women to Best of Especially for Youth and dropped them off because my day was so busy.  Then I went shopping to buy some more apricot pits and supplements.  I also tried buying some white handkerchiefs for the Boise temple dedication tomorrow, but every store was sold out.  That's what I get for procrastinating.  The rest of the day was filled with cleaning, showing apartments, getting our kids to a party (what a pain to not have a little car!), and now our kids have friends downstairs watching the BYU football game.

Zach and Andrew were trying to get a front row view of the game.  Bob is scooting their stools back a bit.

And my poor little bugaboo is upstairs on my bed, not feeling well.  She is sleeping soundly except for every few minutes when she wakes up to throw up.
I am exhausted.  I am going on so little sleep, trying to keep up with so much, and that is after cutting so much out of my schedule this year.  I am happy and thankful for my life, but I am tired!  Last night after we got the kids settled after the accident, we went to the temple.  I was excited to be going through an endowment session for one of my friend's family names.  I have to admit, I fell asleep.  More than once.  I hope she understands.  Maybe in mortality she was a busy and exhausted Mom too?

The second day after a car accident is always the worst! My heart goes out to anyone suffering--it is NO fun! I hope everyone is feeling better in time for Thanksgiving! We love you all so much. Thanks be to God that you are all alive!
